SaaS Revenue Dashboards

An eight-week program to design, critique, and ship a living board for SaaS revenue intelligence — not a one-off slide export.

Who it is for

Analysts, RevOps leads, and product managers who already touch billing or CRM exports and need a shared visual language for subscription revenue. You should be comfortable with spreadsheets; BI tool fluency is helpful but not required.

Informational price: RM 2,480 per seat (Signal Desk). No checkout on this site.

Modules

Eight weeks, four board panels

  • 01

    Metric contracts

Define MRR, ARR, churn, expansion, and NRR with edge cases. Publish owners and refresh SLAs.

  • 02

    Acquisition mix visuals

Channel and segment charts that avoid vanity new-logo spikes without revenue context.

  • 03

    Retention & cohort panels

Heatmaps, curves, and annotation rules for sparse or late-maturing cohorts.

  • 04

    Expansion waterfalls

Seat, usage, and plan-change expansion drawn so finance and CS agree on the stack.

  • 05

    Forecast confidence bands

Ranges and scenario overlays instead of a single brittle line.

  • 06

    Narrative cadence

Weekly review agenda, caption patterns, and stakeholder FAQ prep.

  • 07

    Live critique labs

Present your board; receive structured notes from instructor and peers.

  • 08

    Ship & handoff

Access controls, documentation, and a 90-day maintenance checklist.

Learning outcomes

  • Publish metric contracts your finance partner will accept
  • Ship a four-panel revenue board with clear uncertainty notes
  • Run a 30-minute visual revenue review without slide archaeology
  • Identify when delayed billing makes a chart misleading

FAQ

Straight answers

Which tools do you teach?

Concepts transfer across spreadsheets, Looker, Metabase, Power BI, and Tableau. We do not lock the course to one vendor.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We cannot fix broken billing data for you. If invoices lag or seats are double-counted upstream, your charts will inherit that mess — we teach how to document and bound the uncertainty, not how to invent clean numbers.

Is there a certificate?

Yes, after you present a board in critique week and complete the handoff checklist.

Can teams join together?

Yes — see Observatory Bench on pricing or contact us.

Reviews for this course

From recent Signal Desk seats

“Module 04 on expansion waterfalls ended a three-month argument between CS and finance about what ‘upsell’ meant.”

Jonas · finance partner, Singapore

Short take: critique labs are intense. My first board was over-designed; the rewrite is quieter and actually used.
